Installing Ledger Live

Windows

  1. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder).

  2. Double-click on the file to start the installation process.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of Ledger Live.

macOS

  1. Locate the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder).

  2. Double-click on the file to mount the disk image.

  3. Drag the Ledger Live icon to the Applications folder to install it.

Linux

  1. Open a terminal window.

  2. Navigate to the directory where the downloaded file is located.

  3. Run the following command to install Ledger Live:

    sudo dpkg -i ledger-live-*.deb

    Replace ledger-live-*.deb with the actual filename of the downloaded package.

Logging In to Ledger Live

Launching Ledger Live

  1. Once installed, launch Ledger Live from your desktop or applications folder.

Connecting Your Ledger Device

  1. Connect your Ledger hardware wallet to your computer using the provided USB cable.

  2. Follow any on-screen prompts on your Ledger device to unlock it and navigate to the dashboard.

Signing In

  1. In Ledger Live, click on the "Get Started" button or "Sign In" if you've used Ledger Live before.

  2. Follow the prompts to select your device and enter your PIN code on the Ledger device when prompted.

Accessing Your Accounts

  1. Once logged in, Ledger Live will display your cryptocurrency accounts and portfolio balance.

  2. You can now use Ledger Live to manage your accounts, send and receive cryptocurrencies, and explore additional features.
